Our Sponsorship Needs fall into three broad areas:

Equipment + Supplies,  Services  and  Financial Needs

1. Equipment and Supplies

It takes an enormous amount of equipment and supplies to train and race 50 weeks each year through all of the worst elements. We rely on generous and supportive sponsors to provide our most crucial items.

(Some of the many things needed, but not limited to: Vans or mini-busses, Video Cameras, Digital Still Cameras, Lenses for Digital Camera Frames, Laptops for Video Review and Analysis, Paddles, Life Jackets and Racing Helemts.)

2. Services

We use travel, recruitment, communication, media services in abundance. We depend on the the generosity of professionals and suppliers to accomplish our goals.

(Some of the many things needed here are: Cell phones, web designers, publishers, walkie-talkies, electronic timing systems and car repair services)

3. Financial

Our team members pay most of their own way, but still we seek cash donations to offset training camp fees, travel costs, team permit and logistical costs, especially when there are complex media and promotional efforts at stake.

The average athlete on our Elite travel Team spends nearly $10,000.00 each year to reach his/her goals of becoming an Olympic Hopeful in Whitewater Slalom. More than 130 days each and every year are spent on the road for races and training camps. This means hotels, flights, gas and access and coaching fees every month. Without cash, we would be limited in each athletes growth to an elite athlete.

(Just a few of an athletes typical costs just to stay involved in high level racing: New kayak yearly- 2000.00, Paddle-350.00, Skirts for kayak-120.00 and Paddle wear-350.00)

Thanks for your consideration and support!

FRPA athletes and coaches thank our current 2008 Sponsors. Without their support, we could never be as successful.
