SlaughterFest Racer Sign Up

Most peoples favorite whitewater race.  A celebration of the strong whitewater community in Aspen that includes high level athletes both past a present in competitive kayaking, rafting and SUPing.  This event is more of a test of skill than endurance. The course is only 4.5 mi long and covers ground quickly with a 60fpm gradient and over 20 named rapids!  Most of them being class IV and not your Arkansas IV 🤭

Race registration starts at 2pm in Stein park. You are welcome to leave boats here while you run shuttle or use or shuttle service provided. We highly recommend you park at the INTERCEPT lot (located at the juncture of Hwy 82 and Brush creek rd).

Kayaks will start at 3 pm this year after a safety briefing.

Pre race safety meeting to occur at 6pm in Stein park with race start to follow immediately for rafts.

  • Ordered Starts:
  • Men’s Kayak (Self selecting faster to slower)
  • Women’s kayak (Self Selecting faster to slower)
  • Raft Mass start, Le mans style

Post race party location and awards TBD.
