Most peoples favorite whitewater race.  A celebration of the strong whitewater community in Aspen that includes high level athletes both past a present in competitive kayaking, rafting and SUPing.  This event is more of a test of skill than endurance. The course is only 4.5 mi long and covers ground quickly with a 60fpm gradient and over 20 named rapids!  Most of them being class IV and not your Arkansas IV 🤭

Race registration starts at 4pm in Stein park. You are welcome to leave boats here while you run shuttle or use or shuttle service provided. We highly recommend you park at the INTERCEPT lot (located at the juncture of Hwy 82 and Brush creek rd). We will have busses running from there to the put in and take out starting at around 4pm 

Pre race safety meeting to occur at 6pm in Stein park with race start to follow immediately for kayaks.

• Raft Mass start, Le mans style
